Ambassador Toys is an award-winning toy store.
We are looking for an experienced, team-motivating leader with 5+ years of proven sales and training skills for our store located in the Town & Country Village in Palo Alto.
• 5+ years of retail management, including customer service training
• Experience with Retail Pro POS system a plus
• Inventory management skills
• Excellent retail merchandising skills
• Motivated self starter- able to identify and complete tasks with a minimum of supervision.
• Punctuality and reliability a must.
• Excellent communication skills; English proficiency is mandatory
• Neat, organized and accurate in work habits, with attention to detail.
• Able to work closely and effectively with store staff & general public, particularly parents and children.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as extended schedules during peak periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds short distances; move from place to place; bend, kneel, reach
• The nature of the work requires standing for prolonged periods.
• Honest, dependable and punctual; flexible in a variety of situations
