There’s something new taking shape at Town & Country Village. A vibrant new mural is currently in progress at Building 4, bringing fresh color, creativity, and energy to the space.
The Artist
We’re proud to be working with award-winning mural artist Maxfield Bala. After several rounds of creative exploration, the final design captures the heart of the center and the spirit of Palo Alto.
The Design
The installation features two murals on either side of the CVS entrance, reflecting the bright, energetic lifestyle of the center and surrounding community.
The left mural is inspired by vintage Palo Alto postcards, reading “Greetings from Palo Alto.” Each letter highlights a unique element of the Village and the city—from historic architecture and modern technology to native flowers and agricultural roots.
The right mural celebrates the blend of past, present, and future in our community. It features the Bullock’s Oriole alongside the iconic bells of El Camino Real and Town & Country Village’s signature lantern.
See for Yourself
As the mural comes to life over the coming weeks, visitors can catch the artist in action and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
Timeline
The mural is expected to be completed later this spring and will become a vibrant new focal point at The Village.
Whether you’re visiting to shop, dine, or stroll, we invite you to follow along as the project unfolds and stay tuned for the final reveal.
