Mamahuhu is now open in Palo Alto!
The fourth Bay Area location of Chef Brandon Jew’s Mamahuhu has arrived at Town & Country Village! The new space brings the restaurant’s signature mix of Chinese-American comfort dishes and thoughtful design to the heart of Palo Alto.
The menu features the dishes that have become beloved at Mamahuhu’s San Francisco and Marin locations — like their signature Sweet & Sour Chicken, pineapple bun chicken sandwiches, crisp egg rolls, boba tea, and dairy-free soft-serve sundaes, alongside vegetable-forward options and seasonal specials.
Created with everyday dining in mind, the menu offers quick choices like the customizable Rice Plate, sandwiches, and the Crunchy Cabbage Salad while also inviting groups to share family-style favorites like Mapo Tofu and Cashew Chicken… Each dish is prepared with carefully sourced ingredients, balancing the nostalgia of familiar flavors with creativity.

A Fresh Space for the Neighborhood
The Palo Alto restaurant was built with the community in mind. Guests will find more self-order kiosks, a refreshed digital menu layout, and service updates designed to make dining quicker and easier. The space reflects Mamahuhu’s community-driven spirit, with design touches from local artists and a welcoming layout meant for gathering — whether it’s a casual lunch, family dinner, or a night out with friends.
A Place to Connect
Mamahuhu has always been about more than a meal. In Palo Alto, that spirit continues – Keep an eye out for mahjong nights and other ways we’ll be bringing people together around the table.
